Best Time to Visit
- The Corbett national park is open the entire year so you do not need to think much and just trust your impulse and get on whatever brings you there quickest. However the park is divided into different zones each of which has different terrain and visiting periods.
– JHIRNA ZONE: Open for visitors round the year
-DHIKALA ZONE: 15th November to 15Th June (closed during monsoons)
– BIJRANI ZONE: accessible only during 1st October to 30th June
– DURGA DEVI ZONE: 15th November to 15th June.
Although the park is open throughout the year, the best time to visit this destination is during winter months as all the zones are open to visitors and wildlife spotting gets easier. During summer months the weather is hot and humid so be prepared for the same.

CORBETT WATERFALL: this 66ft high waterfall is a sight to witness. It is within the city. Nature lovers often come to camp here.
GARJIA TEMPLE: 20 km from the city centre, dedicated to goddess parvati, this temple perched atop a huge rock in the midst of kosi river is also the home to the deties of baba Bhairon, Lord shiva, ganesha and saraswati.
CORBETT MUSEUM: Located in Kaladhungi, 47 km from city centre, the Corbett museum is a bungalow which belonged to Jim Corbett- a tiger conservationist and contains his memoirs. The place also has wildlife exhibition.
KOSI RIVER: this is famous attraction for its picture perfect location with a magical view of the hills and crystal clear water. 16 km from the city it is the major source of water for the wildlife.
